Overview

The Power Swap module is a range of videos about creating and testing DC/DC converters.

Prerequisites

  • You should have understand how to use KiCad. Check out the following courses:
    • Shine On
    • Getting to Blinky
  • Hardware required
    • Soldering equipment
    • Measurement equpiement like the Analog Discovery 2 or other oscilloscope like solution

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how a DC/DC converter works and why you want to use one in your projects
  • Understand the passive elements related to creating DC/DC converters
  • Follow vendor supplied diagrams of DC/DC converter layouts
