Simulation

April 30, 2017 By Chris Gammell

Simulation is a tricky part of electronics. Aside from the logistics of understanding the HOW to do simulation (which buttons to push, which characteristics are important) is the WHEN to use simulation.

Electronics is a very hands-on activity and should be treated as such with Contextual Electronics. These tutorials are meant to supplement the work you are doing with physical components, not to replace the entire experience with a screen. To read more about this way of thinking, please read this article by the late, great Bob Pease about simulation.
