In this video, Chris adds the schematic symbols and footprints for the JTAG header (using Tag Connect) and the logic level translator. Both are left to connect in future videos, but are used for getting a feel for some of the final size of components placed on the board.

Links we discussed in this video:

  • Tag-Connect 2050-NL
  • 2050 ARM adapter
  • JLink programmer EDU version
  • v7 Block Diagram

Some of the topics covered:

  • What is a logic level translator and why do we need one?
  • What is a JTAG header?
  • Why would we use a Tag-Connect over something else?
