Overview

Getting to Blinky 4.0 is a short video series introducing the key concepts of using the open source ecad software KiCad. You will be building a small blinking board to cover each of these concepts.

Cost

This course is free to all.

Prerequisites

You should have KiCad 4.0 or higher installed on your computer.

Learning Objectives

  • Understand how to use the base functions of the 4.0 version of KiCad.
  • Create a small circuit board that blinks and LED using a 555 timer, battery and small components.
  • Learn how to solder and troubleshoot a circuit.
